Singapore to host 2014 Asian Netball Championship at the Singapore Sports Hub

Singapore has won the rights to the 2014 Asian Netball Championship, announced the Asian Netball Federation on Tuesday.

More than ten nations are expected to participate in the event which will be held at the Singapore Sports Hub which is due for completion in March 2014. The top two teams will win a place at the 2015 World Netball Championships in Sydney, Australia.

Singapore last hosted the Asian Championship in 2005. It was also the first time it won the event.
